Nominations - Best Conservative Blog

Nominate your choice for Best Conservative Blog.

Blog Name: Stop the ACLU
URL: http://www.stoptheaclu.com
Feed: feed:http://stoptheaclu.com/feed/

This time last year, Stop the ACLU didn't exist. Today, it is ranked as the 6th highest blog in the TLLB Ecosystem and has risen to the class of Instapundit and Captain Quarters.

The blog has achieved success through hard work, perserverance and bringing concerned citizens together. It has lead a charge for Conservative values against the onslaught of the ACLU. It saw it void and it filled in a big way.

Through Open Trackback Fests, and starting its own Carnival, Stop the ACLU is helping create a sense of community on the web. Its going to be a powerful force in the blogosphere for years to come. Stop the ACLU is accessible, intelligently written and provides a forum for Conservatives to air their views.

Its a success story that shows in America, in the 21st Century, and in the blogosphere, you can still achieve anything you put your mind to. Its my honor and privilege to nominate "Stop the ACLU" for Best Conservative Blog.

He's had real world political experience, which, to me, gives him better political sense than some who're just bloggers or columnists, valuable though those folks are. Plus, he's working hard to help forge and promote the New Media to help get the conservative word out.

Commonwealth Conservative
http://www.vaconservative.com

Quite some time ago, while google searching for something or other, I stumbled upon Commonwealth Conservative.

I was immediately drawn in by his sparse, yet concise writing style, and the general "friendliness" of the site's owner.

After only a few visits to his site I realized just how well grounded Chad is in Virginia Politics. (And old movies. And Baseball.) I began to use his site as a source of news.

He is always quick to acknowlege new Virginia blogs, and will attempt to link his large readership base to Virginia bloggers of either party.

The only negative anyone on the selection commitee will find regarding Mr. Dotson's Blog is the fact that it was reading his that inspired me to create mine. Forgive him for that, he knew not what he was doing.
